This policy covers the musedupes.com website only. MuseDupes is a pre-launch project: the app is still in development, and nothing on this website creates an account, uploads photos, runs scans, shows ads or processes purchases.
Who we are
MuseDupes is a pre-launch project developed by Sorin Zamfir in Kilkenny, Ireland. For this website, Sorin Zamfir is the data controller. You can contact us about this policy or your data at support@musedupes.com.
What this website does not do
- No accounts, sign-ups, forms or photo uploads.
- No analytics or advertising added by us.
- No advertising or analytics cookies set by us. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary security measures when needed to protect the site.
- No sale of products and no processing of orders or payments.
Technical data processed to serve the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as your IP address, browser user agent and the pages requested) in server and security logs in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This processing is based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable website. We do not add our own logging or analytics on top of this. Cloudflare acts as our hosting provider and may process technical data in locations described in its privacy documentation, subject to its applicable data protection safeguards. Retention of infrastructure logs is governed by Cloudflare's service configuration and policies.
If you open the site on a temporary *.pages.dev address, a small script
on the page redirects your browser to musedupes.com. This happens entirely in your
browser and sends nothing to anyone.
Third-party verification
The site contains a static verification marker for the Admitad affiliate network (a meta tag and a plain text file). It is not a script: it sets no cookies, runs no code and transmits no data about you. There are currently no affiliate links on this website — see the Affiliate Disclosure.
If you email us, we receive your address and message. We process that information on the basis of our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and maintaining appropriate correspondence records. We keep it only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or to meet legal obligations. Email also travels through your own mail provider under its own terms.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, the EU GDPR (and UK GDPR for visitors in the United Kingdom) may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of personal data, object to processing, and receive portable data. For this website, the information we hold directly is normally limited to email correspondence. Write to support@musedupes.com. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). This website does not make automated decisions about visitors.
The MuseDupes app
The MuseDupes app (and MuseHome) are in development and are not collecting any data today. Before any beta or launch, a separate, complete privacy policy will be published describing exactly what the app processes and why.

We will update this page as the website changes, and the date above will always reflect the current version.
